Crick Boat Show 2026
Crick Show Boat Awards
Braidbar Boats are regulars at the Crick Boat Show and are often placed in the top three for the coveted “Favourite Boat in Show” award.
Daisy at the 2025 Crick Boat Show was awarded Most Admired Boat In Show 2025 runner up. This is determined by a public vote that takes place during the show at the Haven Knox-Johnston marquee and an expert judging panel.
At the 2024 Crick Boat Show
Est Tempus was awarded most admired narrow boat third place.
In 2023 the award of Favourite Boat in Show for Reginald was very much appreciated. Reginald Braidbar's 200th and most unique boat was voted Favourite Boat in Show at the Crick Boat Show 2023.
Other placements for this award include favourite boat runner up at the 2022 Crick Boat Show with Desiderata, favourite boat runner up in the 2021 virtual show with Eh Up!, runner up position with Jolly Good in the 2019 show and first place winner with Elizabeth Anne in 2018.
Awards in previous years also include first place for Braidbar 100 (2007) and Rhiannon (2000). Second place for Mei Long (2017), Integrity (2015), Eleventh Heaven (2012) and Sanity Again (2010) as well as third place for Once Bittern (2016) and Bunnies Warren (2011).
Braidbar Open Day
The Braidbar Open Day gives you a unique opportunity to look around the boatyard and see where and how Braidbar boats are made.
There will be a number of boats on show to the public, with staff and Braidbar narrowboat owners on hand to talk to.
This year's Braidbar Open Day will be held on Saturday 12th September 2026 between 10am to 4pm at Lord Vernon's Wharf, Higher Poynton, Cheshire.
