Braidbar Boats have been building narrowboats for the discerning boater at historic Lord Vernon's Wharf for more than twenty years.

 

Braidbar Owners Group Weekend 2011

Sunday morning and the weather was still dry so the marquees were taken down, more coffee and cake was consumed and then some of the team visited the Macclesfield Silk museum for a tour. Very interesting! With weather still dry we then sat in the garden and shared lunch together and slowly sadly some of the group had to depart for home. However, as has become tradition, the remaining group congregated again in the evening for a Chinese meal and more laughter!

All in all a lovely weekend, great camaraderie and good fun was had by all. Needless to say we have decided to hold another Braidbar Owners weekend at the boat yard in 2012 over the weekend of 8th September!
