Braidbar Boats have been building narrowboats for the discerning boater at historic Lord Vernon's Wharf for more than twenty five years.

What a great show! We were voted 3rd in the ‘Favourite Boat of Show 2011’. Despite the rain on Monday, and a generally pretty grey weekend, visitors seemed to turn out in their 100’s and kept us busy all weekend. There was some very real interest by visitors looking for a new boat and we are delighted that follow up visits to the boatyard have already been booked to discuss matters further.

We received some very positive feedback not only on our beautiful exhibit boat Bunnies Warren, (you can see details of her on the Recent Builds section), but once again on the helpfulness and experience shared by our team – all of whom are our loyal customers. We are really very thankful to them all for sparing their precious time to help us over the weekend – their support and friendship is invaluable to us.

We have arranged another Open Day at the Boat Yard on Saturday September 10th between 10am and 4pm, so please do come and join us and take some time to see around the boat yard and the boats in build. Many of our customers will have their boats moored up, both old and new, and will be able to show you over them too.
