Nimue is a pretty 60’ Trad style narrowboat with a Josher Bow. It has been built with a fully reconditioned Vintage Gardner 2LW Engine with PRM gearbox, and a 24v 10.8HP BCS electric bowthruster. A 70W Flexible 12v solar panel has also been fitted providing top-up energy.
The narrowboat is completely gas free, and has a Heritage Uno stove supplying both heating and cooking facilities.
The front of the boat has a lovely cratch leading to stable doors opening into the saloon area. The Morso squirrel stove is positioned in the corner and whilst providing a focal point will also provide a good supply of heat in those winter months. Leading on into the Galley the claret coloured stove looks stunning set within the Blue Pearl Granite work surface.
The raised dinette Pullman has been upholstered to blend in with the cooker and provides a warmth to the ambiance on board.
Passing the shower room and bedroom we arrive at the engine room, all panelled out as a boatman’s cabin should be. The Gardner engine shines in all its glory looking every bit the buisiness.
