Load of Hay No.121 June 2010

The boat feels very light and airy, helped by a Houdini hatch in the galley, a glazed side hatch window by the dinette, and double-glazed windows. A couple of roof prisms in the shower room and bedroom also provide good light together with the double-glazed portholes.

The boat has a half dinette that converts into a double bed, and is built on a plinth to provide storage for extra chairs etc.

The saloon feels spacious and is elegantly laid out with fitted storage cupboards and book shelves. The Morso stove is set on a raised plinth with a drawer, and the surface is covered in matching granite to the galley and shower room.

The cratch on the front has been glazed in stained glass which looks quite stunning, the colours blending in smoothly with the bright sign writing on the side. Even the roof looks wonderful with a scumbled roof to the rear and a brightly coloured hatch. Two solar panels have also been fitted to the roof and extensive LED lighting within the boat all of which add to the boat’s energy efficiency. There is even a bike rack fitted on to the rear of the boat!
